Walton County Storm Damage
The strong winds from the tropical storm tore a hole in the roof and proceeded to drench the attic crawlspace with large volumes of water. The Florida Panhandle, including the Walton County area, often grapple with these climatic conditions. When our SERVPRO team is requested to clean up and restore storm-damaged properties, securing the structure from hazardous materials and accidents is the primary concern. The demolition of the ceiling and walls having been completed allows for the removal of water and moisture from the attic void. The After Photo shows how our team can seal the attic for two reasons: protect the lower level including the shower stall from exposure and to decrease the volume of air needing treatment for dehumidification.
