Port Washington and a Storm

Port Washington and a Storm

This crawl space in Port Washington was flooded up to the floor joists with water from a recent storm. Our technicians, working as a large crew, drained the water and then was ready to remove all the water-damaged debris, starting with the insulation.

Humidity and dampness meant that mold grew inside of the insulation in the attic of this garage. An exhaust system was set up to alleviate the build up of moisture; our SERVPRO technicians sprayed antifungal chemicals into the crawl space before the new product was installed.

Content Cleaning at our N. Okaloosa Warehouse

Our team attends IICRC training classes in the correct removal of odors. Short cuts don't work when your odor problem is from smoke and fire damage. We are trained and possess the equipment and products to identify and eliminate these offensive odors. Our warehouse has customer content waiting to be restored from fire and smoke damage. Our local team is working hard to make it "Like it never even happened.”

Water Damage to Mary Ester Condos

Water Damage to Mary Ester Condos

The second-floor dishwasher water supply line gave way and filled the kitchen base cabinet and the walls of the first-floor unit with unwanted water. The lower unit owners got hold of us to come and dry out their wall. We followed the source of the leak, contacted the other owners and restored order to both condos.

Flare Up in a Santa Rosa Home

Flare Up in a Santa Rosa Home

Fire and smoke charred and burned the furnishings this section of the house from a grease fire in the kitchen. When our SERVPRO techs received the okay to enter the premises from the Fire Marshal, they got to work discarding the non-salvageable belongings before starting the fire damage restoration service. When the walls, ceilings, and the HVAC system were cleaned and sanitized, then we started on the rehabilitation portion of the service. We are the one-stop solution.

Water Damage – Santa Rosa Beach Home

Water Damage – Santa Rosa Beach Home

Water damage at this Santa Rosa home was extensive as the photo indicates. Strong rains associated with a band of thunderstorms caused the damage. SERVPRO performed both demolitions of damaged building materials and restored some portions of the damaged structure.

Ultra Sonic Machine

Ultra Sonic Machine

Ultrasonic cleaning is the most efficient and effective way of cleaning. The secret is cavitation, which means millions of microscopic bubbles are repeatedly formed and immediately collapse. This action causes the bubbles to penetrate into every niche and crevice. There are no scrubbing or abrasive chemicals!! The process involves submerging the items into a pre-wash station, then into the wash station, then it moves to the third machine you see pictured above where it is rinsed.

The girls volunteered some time down at The Players Championship in Sawgrass. SERVPRO had a hospitality tent overlooking the green of hole 16 and the best view of the island green at #17. Our team witnessed the first hole-in-one on 17 since 2002 by Will Wilcox. SERVPRO is a proud sponsor of the PGA Tour.

In May, we sponsored Hole #10 at the North Gulf Coast Chapter of CAI's Golf Tournament in Santa Rosa Beach. Great weather and great times!!  CAI is an organization for property managers and CAMS that also allows for vendors to join to provide interaction amongst all members.

Our marketing team got to tour the new fire station on Hwy 331 in Freeport. Terry, known as "Pop" by most, even gave the girls a ride on the firetruck pictured above. We thank all of our first responders for the hard work they put in day in and day out.

Norma The Food For Thought Van

Norma The Food For Thought Van

Food For Thought is a local non-profit organization that provides food to children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. We fully support the actions of Food for Thought and are excited to be volunteering with them in packing snacks in backpacks and delivering them to the local schools. According to the USDA, 15.3 million children under 18 in the United States live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life. Today, we stopped by the FFT Destin office and dropped off snacks to be delivered. You can help fight child hunger by donating to their office located in Destin and Santa Rosa Beach.
